In February of 2017, Taylor and Renan were brought on by National Geographic as cinematographers to Director JJ Kelley to document a journey through North Kivu, DRC, tracing every step of gold extraction, illicit or otherwise, from its source in the Congolese hills to the phone in your hand. The show was the season premiere cover story for Season 10 of National Geographic Explorer.
